Composite construction

Our panel technology combines reinforced thermoplastic facesheets with core options that include thermoplastic foam, honeycomb and nonwoven fiber. Thermal bonding joins the layers without secondary adhesives.

01Flat panels

FX Series composite panels

Flat composite panels available in FX8, FX10 and FX22 constructions. FX8 uses fiberglass reinforcement arranged in a 0°/90° cross-ply structure to provide strength in both directions.

02Coils & cut panels

Fortis composite laminates

Fiberglass and thermoplastic film laminates supplied in continuous coils or cut panels. Fortis offers multiple material weights and bonding-face configurations for use within larger assemblies.

  • Material weights including 800, 1,000 and 1,200 g/m²
  • Coil and cut-panel formats
  • Listed coil configurations in 500-foot lengths
  • One- or two-sided bonding options, with film and scrim configurations

03Continuous rolls

TX3 composite coil

Multilayer thermoplastic composite laminates supplied in continuous rolls. TX3 configurations vary in material weight, width and surface, allowing manufacturers to specify material for continuous application.

Available configurations

  • Listed material weights including 480, 680, 800 and 960 g/m²
  • Listed widths up to 102 inches
  • Select roll configurations in 850-foot lengths
  • Black, clear-film and white-film variants

BICO / nonwoven composites
